At rather high temperature, defects undergo a number of transformations: are mutually destroyed; the part of defects can come to a surface of metal or border of grains. If defects are adsorbed by a dislocation, it leads to fixing of the last. If there is a lot of absorbed defects, they move along the line of a dislocation and, gathering, form the teeth which are slowing down the movement of dislocations. As a result of absorption of defects the dislocation is fixed, material is strengthened.
